Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the substance was determined to be 0.0026 hPa at 20 °C, 0.0043 hPa at 25 °C and 0.038 hPa at 50 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.003 hPa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

A literature review was conducted. In a weight of evidence approach the literature values were evaluated. The Design Institute for Physical Properties (DIPPR) reports the vapour pressure to be 0.0026 hPa at 20 °C, 0.0043 hPa at 25 °C and 0.038 hPa at 50 °C. The Syracuse Research Coperation, Physical Properties Database reports the vapour pressure to be 0.0043 hPa at 25 °C. The GESTIS database reports the vapour pressure to be 0.0011 hPa at 20 °C and the IPCS International Programme on Chemical Safety (IPCS) also reports the vapour pressure to be 0.0043 hPa at 25°C. In addition an elder non-GLP study conducted according the dynamic method determined the vapour pressure to be 0.41 hPa at 98.7 °C.T

All literature sources reported the vapour pressure in the same range. The vapour pressure of 0.026 hPa at 20 °C reported from the Design Institute for Physical Properties (DIPPR) was chosen as key value.
