Any other information on results incl. tables

Flammability: The test substance carbonised and did not ignite.

Flammability in contact with water:

The practical experience of the sponsor and the test facility shows that no gases are developed, when the test substance is in contact with water.

Pyrophoric Properties:

The test was not performed experimentally because practical experience exists at the sponsor and the test facility, e.g. when handling small amounts of the test substance repeatedly in air during testing for e.g. subacute toxicity. Also experience from the test for self-ignition of the test substance at elevated temperature is available. The test substance does not ignite in air at ca. 20 °C and the self-ignition temperature was greater than 150 °C (see Section 4.12).

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
The test substance carbonised and did not ignite.
The test substance did not burn over a length of 200 mm within 4 minutes.
The test substance is therefore not classified as "highly flammable", according to the guideline.
The test substance is regarded as not being flammable in contact with water.
The test substance is regarded as not being pyrophoric.
Executive summary:

The flammability of the test substance was determined according to the EC-method.

The test substance carbonised and did not ignite. The test substance did not burn over a length of 200 mm within 4 minutes. The test substance is therefore not classified as "highly flammable", according to the guideline.

Flammability in contact with water:

The practical experience of the sponsor and the test facility shows that no gases are developed, when the test substance is in contact with water.

The test substance is regarded as not being flammable in contact with water.

The test substance is regarded as not being pyrophoric.
