Any other information on results incl. tables

The surface tension was constant during the test. The mean value was therefore calculated from the determinations obtained 1 hour and 10 minutes after the preparation and later. The age of the surface was 1 h 10 min to 2 h.

The mean surface tension of the test substance was 72.175 mN/m, standard deviation0.093, at a temperature of 20.0 °C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
According to the EC Directive, "3-[(2-aminoethyl)ammonio]propane-1-sulfonate" is not surface active because its surface tension is greater than
60 mN/m.
Executive summary:

The surface tension of the test substance was determined with the ring method according to OECD- and EC-methods.

The mean surface tension of the test substance was 72.175 mN/m, standard deviation 0.093, at a temperature of 20.0 °C.
