Description of key information

One key study acc. to OECD Guideline 105 gave the result 38.46 mg/l at 20 °C (pH 4.27). The result more or less is being confirmed by a not guideline-conform supporting study (acid-base titration). It is also getting obvious that the test item has a smaller solubility in the neutral pH range.

Additional information

One key study acc. to OECD Guideline 105 gave the result 38.46 mg/l at 20 °C (pH 4.27). This result more or less is being confirmed by a scientific publication, which describes a not guideline-conform acid-base titration method. In this publication it is also getting obvious that the test item has a smaller solubility in the neutral and more alkaline pH range. In fact the test item appears to be hardly soluble at a pH > 7.5, whereas at pH 4 (and below) the solubility reaches the maximum level (no quantified data available). As a consequence, the substance can be considered as slightly soluble.
