Additional information

There is no data available on the test item, but the skin irritation and eye irritation potential of DOI was assessed by analogy with DEI.

Skin irritant property and/or corrosion of DEI was evaluated in the rabbit following a single semi-occluded application to intact skin in accordance with the General Requirements of O.E.C.D Guideline No. 404.

Under the experimental conditions, DEI was found to be non-irritant for the skin of the rabbit.

Irritant property of DEI was evaluated following a single ocular instillation in the rabbit in accordance with general requirements of OECD Guideline No. 405.

Under the experimental conditions, DEI was found to be non-irritant to the eye of the rabbit.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on the classification criteria of Annex VI Directive 67/548/EEC or UN/EU GHS, and by analogy with the similar substance DEI, no classification of DOI for skin and eye irritation is required.
