Additional information

The surface tension of the isosorbide diesters (EC No. 700 -073 -5) has been determined according to OECD guideline 115 and the EU method A.5, and in compliance with the GLP.

The mean surface tension of the test item at 4 mg/L in demineralized water was 50.8 ± 0.2 mN/m (corrected value).

The substance Isosorbide di-octanoate (CAS No. 64896-70-4 ) was considered as surface active based on this results obtained on a very similar analogue.
