Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information
Oral Exposure:
Read-across:
1. Based on the experimental results obtained with the analogue monosodium salt of cyanuric acid (LOAEL > 4000 ppm and NOAEL = 4000 ppm) the read-across approach is applied and the LOAEL and NOAEL for substance trisodium cyanurate are calculated to be higher than 5128.8 ppm and 5128.8 ppm, respectively ( LOAEL >797 mg/kg bw/d (males); >1097mg/kg bw/d (females) NOAEL 797 mg/kg bw/d (males); 1097 mg/kg bw/d (females)).
2. Based on the experimental results obtained with the analogue cyanuric acid (NOAEL ca.231 mg/kg bw/day male; NOAEL ca. 914 mg/kg bw/day female; LOAEL ca. 109 mg/kg bw/day male; LOAEL ca. 915 mg/kg bw/day female) the read-across approach is applied and the NOAEL and LOAEL for substance trisodium cyanurate are calculated to be NOAEL ca 349 mg/kg bw/day male; NOAEL ca. 1380.9 mg/kg bw/day female; LOAEL ca. 164.6 mg/kg bw/day male; LOAEL ca. 1382.4 mg/kg bw/day female.
3. Based on the experimental results obtained with the analogue monosodium salt of cyanuric acid, monohydrate (NOAEL = 5375 ppm and LOAEL < 5375 ppm) the read-across approach is applied and the NOAEL and LOAEL for substance trisodium cyanurate are calculated to be 6162.5 and less than 6162.5, respectively, under test conditions (equiavlent to trisodium cyanurate in males of 2330 mg/kg bw/day and females 2420mg/kg bw/day) and Equiavlent to trisodium cyanurate in males of >2330mg/kg bw/day and females >2420 mg/kg bw/day).
4. Based on the experimental results obtained with the analogue monosodium salt of cyanuric acid, monohydrate (NOAELca. 154 mg/kg bw/day, male; NOAEL ca. 266 mg/kg bw/day, female; LOAEL ca. 371 mg/kg bw/day, male; LOAEL ca. 634 mg/kg bw/day, female) the read-across approach is applied and the NOAEL and LOAEL for substance trisodium cyanurate are calculated to be NOAEL ca. 176.5 mg/kg bw/day, male; NOAEL ca. 304.9 mg/kg bw/day, female; LOAEL ca. 425.3 mg/kg bw/day, male; LOAEL ca. 726.8 mg/kg bw/day, female, respectively.
5. Based on the experimental results obtained with the analogue monosodium salt of cyanuric acid (NOAELca. 1523 mg/kg bw/day, male and NOAELca. 1582 mg/kg bw/day, female) the read-across approach is applied and the NOAEL for substance trisodium cyanurate are calculated to be ca. 1952.8 mg/kg/ bw/day, male and 2028.4 mg/kg bw/day, female.
Justification for classification or non-classification
No systemic toxicological findings could be detected after repeated administration of cyanuric acid by either the oral or dermal route. Therefore, a classification as STOT RE is not justified.
