Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The density of the test material was investigated in a study which was performed under GLP conditions and in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 109, EU Method A.3 and US EPA OPPTS 830.7300 (Oudhoff, 2016). The study has been assigned a reliability score of 1 in line with the principles for assessing data quality as defined by Klimisch et al. (1997).

The study was performed using a gas comparison stereopycnometer which had been calibrated prior to testing. The density of the test material was calculated using sample weight before measurement and mean volume. The measurement was performed in duplicate. The mean density and relative density were calculated. Measurements were performed at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C.

Under the conditions of the study, the density of the test material was determined to be 1.60 g/cm³ at 20 °C and the relative density was determined to be 1.60.
