Description of key information

Boiling of the test material was not observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or decomposition started. Based on this, the test material has no boiling temperature.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The boiling point of the test material was investigated in a study which was performed under GLP conditions and in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 103, EU Method A.2 and US EPA OPPTS 830.7220 (Oudhoff, 2016). The study has been assigned a reliability score of 1 in line with the principles for assessing data quality as defined by Klimisch et al. (1997).

The boiling point was investigated using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC).

Reaction and/or decomposition of the test material were observed at temperatures of > 175 °C (> 448 K). Boiling of the test material was not observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or decomposition started. Based on this, the test material has no boiling temperature.
