Description of key information
Viscosity is not considered to be relevant since zinc bis[12-hydroxyoctadecanoate] is solid at ambient temperature (ca. 20°C).

In accordance with REACH Regulation, Annex XI, 1., a study on viscosity does not need to be conducted if the available data are adequate for assessment. At ambient temperature, zinc bis[12-hydroxoctadecanoate] is a solid (melting point is 150°). According to ECHA REACH TGD R.7a, 7.1.18.4, viscosity is relevant only to liquids.
