Description of key information

The particle size distribution of a representative sample of PbCl2 has been determined via laser diffraction and is characterised by the following parameters (rounded figures): D10 = 1.8 µm, D50 = 6.3 µm, D90 = 18.4 µm. In addition, the dustiness of this sample has been determined according to a rotating drum method (modified Heubach method). The total dustiness of this sample of PbCl2 is 248 mg/g, i.e. 24.8% of the material become airborne and are conveyed out of the drum by a stream of air.
