Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

JUSTIFICATION FOR DATA WAIVING

The substance does not contain relevant functional groups for which an assessment of the dissociation behaviour would provide information for risk assessment purposes. Lead dichloride is a readily water soluble (10 g/L at 20°C) inorganic salt, yielding only inorganic ions upon dissolution. Therefore, the determination of a dissociation constant is not considered to be required (Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance, section R.7.1.17.1), and the study is waived on the basis of intrinsic chemistry.
