The particle size distribution showed a polymodal distribution. Maxima were observed at approximately 10 um and approximately 200 um and a Shoulder was observed at approximately 1 um.

Conclusions:
The D10, D50 and D90 percentile were determined as D10 = 2.1 µm, D50 = 9.2 µm and D90 = 30.2 µm, respectively.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to OECD Test Guideline 110  and ISO 13320 (2009). The D10, D50 and D90 percentile were determined by laser diffraction as D10 = 2.1 µm, D50 = 9.2 µm and D90 = 30.2 µm, respectively.

Description of key information

The D10, D50 and D90 percentile were determined as D10 = 2.1 µm, D50 = 9.2 µm and D90 = 30.2 µm, respectively (reference 4.5-1).
