Density:
1.271 g/cm³
Temp.:
20 °C
Remarks on result:
other: temperature not reported, study conducted at room temperture assumed to be 20°C

The volume of TAOBN was evaluated to be 0.4181 cm³. Since the sample weight used was 0.5315 grams, the density was evaluated to be 1.2713 g/cm³. The helium pycnometry measurement reflects the density of the solid portion of the material excluding the pores and therefore has units of grams of solid per volume of solid assuming no closed porosity. As such, it is equal to the skeletal density of the material.

Conclusions:
The average density of the solid test material was determined to be 1.2713 g/cm³ using a helium pycnometer.

Description of key information

The skeletal density of the solid test material was determined to be 1.2713 g/cm³ using a helium pycnometer.
