Description of key information
No measured data on photodegradation/photolysis are available for TEA-Esterquats. Due to the very low emissions of TEA-Esterquats to air (negligible vapour pressure) the extent of photodegradation in air has no relevance for the environmental fate for this class of chemicals.

A study of Phototransformation/Photolysis is not needed. Photodegradation in air has no relevance for the substances, as they are not volatile.
Due to the ionic structure of the TEA-Esterquats their vapour pressures are negligible. Therefore emissions to air are expected to be very low and the extent of photodegradation in air has no relevance for the environmental fate of this class of chemicals.
