Description of key information

The stability of the substance in water was examined according to the OECD TG 111. Preliminary tests for defining the analytical parameters which should be applied for the hydrolysis tests revealed that the test substance was not sufficiently soluble in water and no suitable analytical method could be developed to observe a hydrolysis test. Therefore no hydrolysis test according to OECD TG 111 could be performed. Additionally it was observed that the substance precipitates in water and in an organic solution. As the dried precipitate shows the same IR-spectrum as the original test item, it can be concluded that no hydrolysis or decomposition occurs during precipitation and the substance is stable towards hydrolysis.
