Description of key information

Significant effects on mortality, reproduction and growth were observed at the same treatement concentrations. The 21 day NOEC for Daphnia magna exposed to Ceraphyl 55 was determined as 0.047 mg/L. The 21 day LOEC is 0.096 mg/L and the calculated MATC is 0.067 mg/L.

Additional information

The chronic toxicity of Ceraphyl 55 to the Cladoceran (Daphnia magna) was determined in a GLP-compliant, 21 day flow-through study following OECD guideline 211 (Wildlife International 2008). The study exposed Daphnia magna to mean measured concentrations of 0.011, 0.023, 0.047, 0.096 and 0.185 mg Ceraphyl 55/L alongside a solvent control and blank control.
