Additional information

The acute toxicity of Ceraphyl 55 to Daphnia magna was determined in a GLP-compliant, static acute toxicity study following OECD guideline 202 (Springborn Smithers 2004). Twenty Daphnia were exposed for 48 hours to Ceraphyl 55 at mean measured concentrations of 0.0016, 0.0038, 0.0084, 0.012 and 0.028 mg/L alongside a solvent control and blank controls and observed for immobilisation and sublethal effects. Immobilisation was observed at the two highest test concentrations, and an EC50 calculated.
