Description of key information

The substance exhibits inherent (primary) biodegradability in several inherent biodegradability tests.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
inherently biodegradable

Additional information

Several studies have evaluated inherent biodegradability of the substance, using shake-flask and SCAS procedures employing measurements of DOC and methylene blue active substance (MBAS) removal. These studies indicate a sufficient degree of primary biodegradation to be considered as inherent (primary) biodegradability.
