45.9 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
9.82 mg/L

Additional information

In a 72-hour static GLP test with the green alga Scenedesmus subspicatus (new name: Desmodesmus subspicatus) according to OECD guideline 201, the algae toxicity of isobutyl vinyl ether was investigated (BASF 2004). Statistical evaluation of the endpoint growth rate revealed an EC50 (72h) of 45.9 mg/L, the NOEC was calculated to be 9.82 mg/L, both related to the mean of the analytically determined concentrations.
