Results and discussion

Results:
Values found for IBVE were on a reduced level due to the lower vapor pressure. 59 analytical values with a range of < 0.004 mg/m³ (0.001 ppm) to 5.0 mg/m³ (1.2 ppm) are available for the years 2000 - 2004. Mean value, 90 % and 95 % percentiles were at 0.26 mg/m³ (0.062 ppm), 0.96 mg/m³ (0.23 ppm), and 1.6 mg/m³ (0.39 ppm), respectively.
Similar to EVE, the higher concentrations were found during barreling. In the processing plants, highest concentrations were measured to be 0.1 and 1.1 mg/m³, respectively.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Occupational exposure measurements were documented for the years 2000 - 2004. Mean value, 90 % and 95 % percentiles were at 0.26 mg/m³ (0.062 ppm), 0.96 mg/m³ (0.23 ppm), and 1.6 mg/m³ (0.39 ppm), respectively.
