Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

A key study was performed to determine the ready biodegradation of the substance. The Chemical Oxygen Demand of the test item was determined to be 586 mg/g O2, whereas the Biological Oxygen Demand of the substance was determined to be 0 mg/g O2. Correspondingly, the calculation of the BOD5/COD quotient cannt be performed and is regarded as zero.

In the supporting studies, the Chemical Oxygen Demand of the test item was determined to be 897 mg/g O2, whereas the Biological Oxygen Demand of the test item was determined to be 240 mg/g O2. The corresponding BOD5/COD quotient is about 0.27 indicating the test substance to be not biodegradable.
