Description of key information

The boiling point of the THPC Urea Amine was studied according to the EU Method A2 and OECD Guideline 103 using differential scanning calorimetry measurements. Two determinations were performed and the test item underwent stepwise decomposition from 102.5°C, without evidence of boiling.
The boiling point of the THPC Urea Amine is found to be superior to 102,5°C at normal ambient pressure. The reaction product seems to decompose at this temperature.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
102.5 °C
