Description of key information

The auto flammability of the test material was studied according to EU Method A.15. The test material was heated from 200°C to 300°C and was observed for any ignition during 300 sec. An orange flame and grey fumes were observed for temperature above 234°C. No ignition was observed at 284°C and no observations except grey fumes at 282°C. The self ignition temperature of test material is then considered to be 282°C +/- 5°C at 101.85 kPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
282 °C

Additional information

Under the conditions of this study, the self-ignition temperature of the substance was determined to be 282 ± 5°C at atmospheric pressure (101,85 KPa).
