Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the oxidising properties study (required in section 7.13) does not need to be conducted as the substance is predicted to be incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials on the basis of chemical structure.
The structure of the test material was assessed for chemical groups that would imply oxidising properties. Full structural details are given in Bretherick's Handbook of Reactive Chemical Hazards, 4th edition, Butterworths, London, 1990.
