- Executive summary:
The freezing point of the test substance was measured under GLP according to EU A1 guideline.
An aliquot was placed in a cooling bath, stirred, and the temperature was recorded at regular intervals. Two runs were performed.
No solidification or freezing of the test material was observed down to a temperature of 253 K (-20°C).
Reference
At the beggining of the test, the test material was a clear colourless liquid. Then, no change was observed down to 263 or 255K (respectively for determination 1 and 2), where the test material was more viscous. At lower temperatures, no change was observed again.
