Description of key information

As the substance decomposes above its melting point of 175°C the determination of its autoflammability is technically not feasable. Among the decomposition products acetic acid exhibits an autoignition temperature of 485°C at normal pressure. The study is waived on the basis of the substance being solid and its instability.
