Description of key information
Sodium hypochlorite solutions remain stable for at least one year, when stored protected from sunlight at a coolish place.

Justification for classification or non-classification
Based on the results and taking into account the provisions laid down in Council Directive 67/548/EEC and CLP, sodium hypochlorite does not have to be classified with respect to thermal stability.
