The autoflammability/self ignition temperature was > 400 Deg. C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The determination of the relative self-ignition temperature of lanthanum oxide was performed according to EU Method A16 only up to300°Cwith a plateau. No self-ignition is observed up to300°C. A Grewer test, performed up to500°C, was done as a complement of the previous test.
No exothermic reaction is observed up to
500°C. The test item has no auto-ignition temperature up to at least400°C.
