Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No effects on hatching, mortality, weight, and length was seen in danio rerio in a fish early life stage test (FELS) according to OECD 210 and thus the NOEC in this study is ≥ 60 mg/L (highest concentration tested).

Additional information

The toxicity of the test item sulfamic acid in the Early-Life Stage Toxicity Test against Danio rerio was tested under flow-through conditions. One valid experiment was performed using five concentrations ranging from 5.6 mg/L to 60 mg/L test item.

As no concentration tested showed any toxic effect, only the highest concentrated treatment 60 mg/L was necessary for evaluation of the results. The measured concentrations in this treatment lay in a range from 88 % to 96 % of the nominal concentration. Therefore, the determination of the results was based on the nominal concentrations

The following results for the test item sulfamic acid could be determined:

> 60 mg/L
