Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Short description of key information on bioaccumulation potential result:
1. The lowest absorption in the gastrointestinal tract and the skin is expected for sulphamidic acid
2. Therefore no indication of the importance of the metabolism of the test item

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Bioaccumulation potential:
low bioaccumulation potential
Absorption rate - oral (%):
10
Absorption rate - dermal (%):
10
Absorption rate - inhalation (%):
10

Additional information

Given the very high water solubility and estimated low octanol/water partitioning coefficient, an at most low bioaccumulation is expected. Absorption via oral or dermal exposure is expected being low (both 10% assumed) and based on high particle size inhalation exposure is not relevant (10% absorption assumed as worst case).
