The chemical structure of dipropylene glycol methyl ether shows that there is no functional group that could dissociate. The substance does not contain both, acidic or basic functional groups. Dipropylene glycol methyl ether is not an ionisable organic substance and as non-ionisable substance will tend not to dissociate in water under normal environmental conditions.
