Dipropylene glycol methyl ether (DPGME) meets the criteria for ready biodegradation passing the 10 day window in an OECD 301 F. Degradation based on oxygen consumption reached 75 % after 10 days, while 79% degradation after 28 days. The formation of CO2 reached 76% CO2 indicating extensive mineralisation of dipropylene glycol methyl ether.
