Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Data on the aquatic toxicity are available for fish, aquatic invertebrates and algae. The acute tests on fish and Daphnia determined no toxic effects of the substance up to the tested limit concentration of 100 mg/L (E(L)C50> 100 mg/L). In the study on the toxicity to aquatic algae an inhibition of algal growth was observed. The determined ErC50 (72 h) was 88 mg/L (NOErC (72 h) = 32 mg/L). Long-term toxicity tests are not available for fish and aquatic invertebrates. For algae a NOErC (72 h) of 32 mg/L (nominal, OECD 201, P. subcapitata) was determined. A chronic toxicity study for aquatic invertebrates according to OECD guideline 211 is proposed.

Based on the results obtained for the inhibition control of the ready biodegradability study an inhibition of microbial activity by the substance is not expected.
