Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Relative density at 20C:
1.05

Additional information

A literature review was conducted. In a weight of evidence approach the literature values were evaluated. REAXYS reports the density to be 1.105 at 20 °C, the GESTIS database reports the density to be 1.194 g/cm3 at 20 °C and the IPCS International Programme on Chemical Safety reports the density to be 1.1 g/cm3 at 20 °C. This was supported by different literature sources and a non-GLP study where the density is reported at higher temperatures. Three independant literature sources report the density at 20 °C in the same range. Thus the value derived from the peer reviewed database REAXYS is choosen to be the most valid regarding standard conditions.
