Results and discussion

Water solubility
Water solubility:
> 500 g/L
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
5.9
Details on results:
After the stirring period (nominal concentration of 1.0 x 10E3 g/l), undissolved test substance was observed. After addition of an extra amount of additional double distilled water (nominal concentration 0.5 x 10E3 g/l). the test sample was clear and no undissolved test substance was observed. The pH of the aqueous sample was 5.9.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Interpretation of results (migrated information): very soluble (> 10000 mg/L)
The water solubility of L-Lysine Monohydrochloride at 20°C was > 0.5 x 10E3 g/l. The pH of the aqueous sample was 5.9.
