Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of 2,2'-azobis(2-amidinopropane)dihydrochloride is 7.20E-6 Pa at 20 °C and 9.77E-6 Pa at 25 °C.
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of 2,2'-azobis(2-amidinopropane)-dihydrochloride was determined following EU A.4 using the effusion method (weight loss).

Vapour pressure was examined at four different temperatures. Two temperatures could be evaluated as they showed significant and reproducible weight loss. For these temperatures, 1/t was plotted against log (P).

As only two temperatures could be evaluated, the graph 1/T vs. log (P) shows a straight line with a correlation coefficient of -1.0000.

For the test item 2,2'-azobis(2-amidinopropane)-dihydrochloride, the following vapour pressueres at 20 °C and at 25 °C were calculated from the regression equation:

Vapour pressure at 20 °C: 7.20 * 10-6 Pa

Vapour pressure at 25 °C: 9.77 * 10-6 Pa
