Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The density of the reaction mass of glycyl-L-glutamine and potassium chloride is 1.715 g/cm³ at 20 °C. From this value a relative density of 1.715 at 20°C can be calculated.
The constituent glycyl-L-glutamine has a measured relative density of 1.54 (GLP report 2008-0142-DGP) and the other constituent potassium chloride a literature value of 1.984 (Kirk-Othmer handbook)). A value calculated for the reaction mass of L-alanyl-L-glutamine taking into account the composition of the reaction mass predicts a relative density of approx. 1.586 at 20 °C.

Additional information

The substance is a reaction mass of Gly-Gln and KCl. The component Gly-Gln has a measured relative density of 1.54 (GLP report 2008-0142-DGP) and KCl a literature value of 1.984 (Kirk-Othmer handbook). A value calculated for the reaction mass on both components shows a density of 1.586 g/cm³ at 20 °C. We expect that another test would bring no other results.
