Description of key information

The ready biodegradability of main organic component of the reaction mass of Glycyl-L-glutamine and potassium chloride (L-Alanyl-L-glutamine) was determined in a study conducted according to OECD Guideline 301 F.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

No data is available on the biodegradability of the reaction mass of Glycyl-L-glutamine and potassium chloride.

The substance consists of two components namely the dipeptide Glycyl-L-glutamine and the inorganic salt potassium chloride. Besides these two main components only non-hazardous / non-classified amino acids in small amounts are present. Based on the composition of the substance and taking into account that the inorganic salt potassium chloride is not subject to biodegradation it can be assumed that the results obtained with Glycyl-L-glutamine apply likewise to the test material under investigation (reaction mass of Glycyl-L-glutamine and potassium chloride).

The ready biodegradability of Glycyl-L-glutamine was determined in a study conducted according to OECD Guideline 301 F.
