Description of key information
Disperse Red 302:1 was evaluated for toxicity to fish, daphnids, Lemna, and bacterial organisms.
The key values for Disperse Red 302:1 regarding aquatic toxicity were:
48-hour LC50 to fish: >1000 mg/L
48-hour EC50 to Daphnia: >100 mg/L
7-day EyC50 and ErC50 to Lemna: >100 mg/L
7-day 7-day NOErC & NOEyC and the LOErC & LOEyC: >100 mg/L
3 hour IC50 to bacterial organisms: >100 mg/l
Additional information
Disperse Red 302:1 was evaluated for toxicity to fish, Daphnia, Lemna and bacterial organisms.
The key values for Disperse Red 302:1 regarding aquatic toxicity were:
In all the three fish studies performed at concentration ranging from 3 mg/L to 1000 mg/L of FAT 36052/D there was no mortality noted at 24 hours and 48 hours for both conditions (dissolved with Tween 80 and with acetone). 48-hour LC50 to fish: >1000 mg/L
A study was performed according to the OECD Guideline 202 (Daphnia sp. Acute Immobilisation Test) to determine the EC50 of FAT 93504/A to Daphnia magna. 48-hour EC50 to Daphnia was determined to be >100 mg/L.
The toxicity of the test item to the aquatic plant Lemna gibba in a growth inhibition test was determined based on the procedures indicated by the following - OECD 221 equivalent to EU C. 26
7-day EyC50 and ErC50 to Lemna : >100 mg/L
7-day 7-day NOErC & NOEyC and the LOErC & LOEyC: >100 mg/L
A study was performed to determine the IC50 (concentration of the test substance which inhibits the respiration activity of the activated sludge by 50 %), of FAT 93504/A. following the OECD Guideline 209 (Activated Sludge, Respiration Inhibition Test). The IC 50 of the test substance after 3 hours is greater than 100 mg/l.
