Description of first aid measures

General advice : Consult a physician. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.

Eye Contact : Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.Obtain medical attention.

Skin Contact : Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated clothes and shoes. Obtain medical attention.

Ingestion : Clean mouth with water. Get medical attention.

Inhalation :  Remove from exposure, lie down. Move to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Obtain medical attention.

Notes to Physician : Treat symptomatically

Extinguishing media

Suitable Extinguishing Media : Water spray. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry chemical. chemical foam.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture : Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapors

Advice for fire-fighters : As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions : Use personal protective equipment. Avoid dust formation. Avoid breathing vapors, mist or gas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Avoid breathing dust.

Environmental precautions : Do not let product enter drains.

Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up : Pick up and arrange disposal without creating dust. Sweep up and shovel. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling : Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid formation of dust and aerosols. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed. Normal measures for preventive fire protection.
