Sodium caprolactamate hydrolyses under physiological conditions with the formation of epsilon-Caprolactam and sodium hydroxide.
Whilst epsilon-Caprolactam is known to be readily biodegradable, sodium hydroxide is not expected to have PBT / vPvB properties due to its chemical nature.
