Description of key information

epsilon-Caprolactam was found to be a constituent of sunflower seedlings. In Japanese surface waters it occurs in concentrations < 1 µg/L and in sediment in concentrations < 500 ng/kg.

Additional information

Hasegawa et al (1983) found epsilon-Caprolactam to be a constituent of sunflower seedlings. In a report of the Japanese Department of Environmental Health (1985), epsilon-Caprolactam occurs in Japanese surface waters in concentrations < 1µg/l and in sediment in concentrations <500 ng/kg.
