First-aid measures

Inhalation: Move exposed person to fresh air. Consult a doctor.
Ingestion: If swallowed, do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Drink plenty of water and provide fresh air. If symptoms persist consult doctor.
Eye contact: Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. Consult a doctor.
Skin contact: Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly. If skin irritation continues, consult a doctor.
Information for doctor: Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents: The product is not flammable. Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.
Unsuitable extinguishing agents: None
Special hazards caused by the substance, its products of combustion or resulting gases: Formation of toxic gases is possible during heating or in case of fire.
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained respiratory protective device. Do not inhale explosion gases or combustion gases.
Additional information: Dispose of fire debris and contaminated fire fighting water in accordance with official regulations.

Personal precautions: Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid formation of dust. Wear protective clothing. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.
Environmental precautions: Damp down dust with water spray. Pick up mechanically. Send for recovery or disposal in suitable receptacles.

Handling and storage

Wear protective clothing. Prevent formation of dust. Provide suction extractors if dust is formed. Any unavoidable deposit of dust must be regularly removed.

Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed receptacles. Protect from humidity and water. Keep container tightly sealed. Protect from carbon dioxide. Substance absorbs CO2 from the air.

The usual precautionary measures are to be adhered to when handling chemicals. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Do not inhale dust / smoke / mist. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.
