Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Due to the low BCF accumulation in organisms is not expected.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

BCF (aquatic species):
8 L/kg ww

Additional information

Due to the logPow bioaccumulation is regarded possible. Nevertheless, a model calculation using OASIS BCF base-line v1.04 tool which includes mitigating fators as metabolism, size etc. shows, that the substance undergoes metabolic transformation (BASF 2011). Therefore the calculated BCF of ca. 8 which includes these mitigating factors clearly indicates that the substance is not bioaccumulative. Due to this result a test on vertebrate animals is not deemed neccessary serving animal welfare reasons.
