Description of key information

The boiling point of phenetole by the distillation method was found to be 182 degC at an atmospheric pressure of 955 hPa. No decomposition of phenetole was observed at the boiling point. This boiling point value when converted at 101325 Pa is equivalent to 193.101 degC.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
193.101 °C
