Description of key information
According to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex IX, Column 2, the study on bioaccumulation if the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation (for instance a log Kow ≤ 3). As per weight of evidence approach several data sources unanimously indicate that the log Kow of substance methylphosphonic acid is -1.5559. Based on such a very low Kow (<-2) the study on bioaccumulation can be waived.
