Explosiveness

Description of key information

Explosiveness testing can be waived for substances which do not contain functional groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule. According to United Nations (UN) Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, Appendix 6, Table A6.1, potassium allophonate does not contain any explosive functional groups; therefore, explosiveness testing is waived In accordance with Column 2 of Annex VII of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006.

In accordance with Column 2 of Annex VII of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, explosiveness testing need not be conducted if there are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule.
