Results

Thermal stability

The measurement in the closed glass pan shows an endothermal effect (melting) beginning at 180 °C, followed by a decomposition of the test substance in the range 245-305 °C, with a

decomposition energy of 190 J/g, and a small exothermal effect in the range 370-470 °C, with a decomposition energy of 78 J/g.

Melting temperatures

The determinations of melting / boiling point by DSC, Mettler-Toledo TA8000, were carried out in aluminium pans with a hole.

In aluminium pans, the diagrams show the endothermal effect (melting) is in the range 160-260 °C, with an onset of 217 °C followed by a decomposition of the test substance.
