Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Actual testing was not technically feasible. Using Meissner's calculation method, the boiling point (Tb) of the non-charged CPC was estimated to be 652 K (379 degrees C). Using the Modified Watson Correlation method, the vapour pressure of the non-charged molecule at 25C was calculated to be 5.5x10^ -6 Pa. The vapour pressure of the salt is expected to be significantly lower. Due to the charges in the molecule, the transition from the solid to the vapour phase will need additional energy, resulting in a lower vapour pressure.
